Will the high-speed RAIL be the downfall of Mark Carney’s government. It is highly unpopular with the majority of Canadians that won’t benefit and have to pay for it. Municipalities are opposed as well.

@ryangerritsen Imagine what we could export if we did the exact opposite of every liberal policy.

The Government is giving 64 million towards the steel sector in Quebec. Terrebonne has several big steel fabricators & manufacturers. But this announcement is just a coincidence of course.

🇨🇦 PRE-CON CONDO WIPEOUT — TORONTO This is no longer a “slowdown.” It’s a financial reset. Bought at $800K. Appraised at $650K. Bank won’t cover the gap. Deal collapses. Life savings? Gone. Years of planning? Gone. And it’s not one story. It’s happening every day. This is how housing markets actually break. #cdnpoli #Toronto #RealEstate

Theo Von is arguably the dumbest sentient plank of wood in existence. The fact that someone with his level of geopolitical illiteracy gets to sit on the world’s most popular podcast and casually spew that kind of brain rotting nonsense is actually impressive in the worst possible way...

Jada Pinkett Smith says no matter how hard Will Smith tried to make her happy, it didn’t work. She later realized it wasn’t his responsibility, and admits she sought happiness in other people while still married, saying it helped her heal 😳🤔

@guyfelicella @guyfelicella we would have much cheaper and better fuel quality if we didn’t have carbon tax 2.0 from your preferred carney government. Is the ownership of the land your home sits on in Eby’s brain damaged crosshairs?

Oof… $217.9 a litre. Less than a month ago it was $160.9 That’s about $8.25 a gallon. Anyone else frustrated a delusional man gets handed this much power and the entire world is paying for it at the pumps?

I love when people cherry pick thing other countries are doing when it supports their narrative. Australia cuts gas tax in half! Cool, mention Australia when discussing gun control and we're told how ridiculous they are. Look at the "happiness" in Sweden! Okay, cool, want to implement the social policies behind that happiness? Look at the speed at which China can build infrastructure! Then they tell us how horrible labour and such in China is. Cherry picking is ridiculous. Additionally, these guys have told us the gas spike is Carney's fault, but also a global phenomenon? Weird.
Mario Zelaya@mario4thenorth

Oil past $100. Gas at $2/litre. Australia cut fuel taxes in half. Italy cut them. Spain, Ireland, Portugal all moved. Poilievre called for the same thing here: NO TAXES AT THE PUMP FOR THE YEAR Carney’s response? “Following carefully.” But he found $14 billion for developers and fantasy choo choo trains in one week. $0 for you at the pump. Out. Of. Touch.

🚨I genuinely don’t understand this. Canada produces more than enough oil to supply our own country. So why are Canadians paying global crisis prices for gasoline when the Strait of Hormuz is threatened? Why are we tied to world prices instead of having a Canadian energy price advantage? Gas is now near $2.16 /L — the most expensive it’s ever been. 🇨🇦⛽ #cdnpoli #Energy #GasPrices #Canada

At 12, I started using drugs. At 14, I was incarcerated. At 16, gangs and foster care. By 18, crime, drugs, prison. By 23, homeless, addicted, dying. At 42, I overdosed 6 times. At 43, I got sober. At 44, I became a father. At 45, I got my first real job. At 49, I gave my first TEDx talk. At 50, I became an international speaker. They said I wouldn’t make it past 30. I’m 56 now, living proof they were wrong. If you’re at rock bottom: don’t quit. Your comeback can still be greater than your collapse.
Dear Son.@DearS_o_n

To all men who survived rock bottom, what’s one piece of advice would you give a man who feels like giving up right now?

The UCP is opening the door to election rigging, and Albertans should be outraged. Effective representation is a constitutional right. It is not subject to the notwithstanding clause. Anything short of implementing the majority report in its entirety is election rigging. We won't let them cheat to win. albertandpcaucus.ca/news/post/ucp-…
