Never liked him and always thought he was an absolute zero if not a negative as a coach. That said he got a pretty raw deal during his time in Milwaukee. They’re the biggest train wreck of any semi competent franchise at the moment.

Another impossibly unavoidable injury and a storyline the likes of which William Shakespeare couldn’t even envision. Over the past days, I’ve seen many say this is the last straw. Another chapter in a story they cannot stomach to read another word of. Dare I say - Continue Bullieving. As the wiseman said, “This too shall pass”. Another season of what if -yes - and yet I see an abundance of opportunity ahead. Opportunities for Maxey to lead the way on the biggest of stages alongside his backcourt partner of the future who has no choice but to show what he can do. We are down but not out. Appendicitis will not linger. It’s unfortunate timing will allow Joel a true offseason to prepare for what I think we all know will be one of the final chapters in this story. Honestly I go back and forth on his tenure as a Sixer. It’s not his fault he got a max contract put in front of him. Anyone would sign it. But the constant shit talking since leaving as if the criticisms weren’t valid is ridiculous. Look at the stats whatever I watched those minutes. Many times those last 8 points were garbage time buckets. Guy just could never hit that timely shot to blow the roof off the building.
