Everything is easier in retrospect. That’s why case studies say “the goal was simple, to create a campaign that does X while delivering Y” But when you were working on the actual project, there was chaos, the goal moved 15 times & it was the most complex thing you ever worked on

Designers make their observations known because we can articulate what is wrong. Everyone else will just sigh, kiss their teeth and go about their day frustrated at their inability to describe the problem.

It's like we don't even see how the lack of design eats away at our collective sanity.

Same way you will complain about the lekkification of houses in Nigeria and houses lacking taste and personality. There’s this sameness that I’m beginning to notice in digital product design these days and i don’t know if it’s intentional but it’s starting to look bland. I’ve scrolled passed over 5 UI screens done by different people and I can’t tell the difference between them. I can tell they’re all trying to be “clean”
