I’ll never really understand the craze around MD/MS (at least MD). DNB offers a far better work–life balance, along with stronger hands-on exposure in medical branches, and access to better diagnostic equipment for managing cases. Still underrated, somehow. #medtwitter #neetpg

In homeopathy, the more you dilute a medicineis the more “potent” it’s claimed to be. Beyond a point (after Avogadro's number) there isn’t even a single molecule left. Like 200cc is more diluted then 30cc but it's supposed to be more effective Does it make any sense! #medtwitter

What do you do after a draining 12–14 hour day of rounds, OPD, and everything in between ! just to unwind? (Provided there's no weekends or holidays… just eat, work, sleep, repeat.) #medtwitter #residency

@Covid19Update5 Yes true , I am doing DNB from a tertiary private hospital and on an average our dept admits 35-40 pt , honestly anything more then this will make a lot of difference as I won't be able to give the appropriate importance to my patient care and treatment, I am already struggling

@thecliche_guy DNB have less patients exposure as compared to MD / MS from government colleges. Makes lot of difference in initial years of practice.

Hardly 2 months into residency ,still figuring out ward, OPD, ICU rounds… and now the constant pressure of thesis topics and abstract submissions !! Man , I haven’t even understood the subject yet, and you want me to contribute as a researcher! #medtwitter #residency

My biggest fear while joining DNB was that I wouldn’t get enough OPD exposure in a private setup Two months into residency, that fear has changed completely. Now it’s this: Did I prescribe the right medication? Because this is how my consultant sends patients to me #medtwitter

@DrDeepeshSonii Let’s revisit this in 3 years. Then we’ll see whether DNB is still called inferior to MD, or if it’s actually shaping the future... MD is just older not superior!

Becz people still feel DNB will always be inferior then MD But its all on your way of thinking And yehh its true DNB have better work life balance, less toxicity, then MD/MS And good hands on as far as i can see in last 2 months And same pay what others get in MD/MS

@thecliche_guy Agree. Esp in a top tier city hospital, exposure is arguably more advanced in NBE courses

DNB stands for Diplomate of National Board. Now, the word “Diplomate” bothers some people because it sounds close to “Diploma.” But the real issue isn’t the word — it’s perception. #medtwitter #meded #neetpg

@thecliche_guy DNB is well recognised in corporate world in India and also has good value abroad in certain countries. I did DNB too! I always felt my training was better than the training, people get in many government medical colleges!

The problem is India’s high illiteracy rate. But that’s also the strange beauty of this place , if you truly know your craft and can communicate it well, perception bends. Even a quack can sell medicine here… so if you actually know your craft.l, “Diplomate” won’t hold you back

@tushar_p98 Couldn’t understand whether this was mockery of this post or of yourself. Staying long hours doesn’t mean more success. As a resident, I spend 12–14 hours in the hospital, but my consultant hardly comes for 6 hours a day. Does that mean I’m more successful than my consultants? 😂
