The Clocks App

New app update is live! Contains a new build for the Pro screensavers to address issues some users were having with multiple monitors! Not that this pesky bug is done I can focus on more backgrounds, clocks, widgets etc! Excited to share more soon.

Ok I think I solved the gnarly bug that made the screensavers not work on multiple monitors... turns out it was related to how the displays are arranged! DM me if you've had screensaver issues and want to test the newest build

Working on the next update to support more languages! Was out of town last week for a design conference but more updates are coming <3

@0NEN0DE_ Sadly it needs to be able to support Metal 3.0 shaders which I think is iOS 16+ only

@theclocksapp Any intention of releasing a version compatible with older iOS models? I have a dusty iPhone 7 Plus just sitting around that I’d love to repurpose for this.

Version 1.22 is in the store, includes voice control improvements and a better shortcut option! If you're having trouble setting up automatic charging, open the tutorial in settings and use the Open Shortcuts button which will prompt you to add the new shortcut. Link below

@GuyMagen oh its if you didn't allow location permissions, or if it can't reach the weather api! I can make an update where this hides after x seconds if it isn't successful

Clocks version 1.21 is out! There's a new toggle for temperature, small changes to make it more obvious when a clock is Pro only, and some small bugs. Next update is aimed at A11y updates and other fixes.

I have a new screensaver build available, if you're having any trouble with multiple monitor setups, send me a DM and I'll send you the updated build to test! Otherwise it will be available in an official app store update soon.

Waiting on Apple for review on the update I mentioned last night, I also have a new screensaver build this morning that fixes some multi monitor issues! In the meantime I'd love for folks to vote for Clocks on producthunt.com

@theclocksapp enjoying the app but when I try to display my screen saver with my MacBook open I get the following issue. The issue isn’t present when my MacBook is closed.

Submitting a new build tonight for: - C° weather (i had some logic for Celcius that apparently isn't reliable) - Linking to a premade shortcut so opening automatically is a bit easier - Other minor bug fixes If you're having any screensaver issues with multiple monitors, DM me!

@adrianjohnson It shoudl show Centigrade if your phone is set to it? Can you try changing yours to F° then back to C° in your phones settings? I wonder if it's not detecting yours for some reason. It works for me so I'd love help debugging this!

@theclocksapp Hi, really like this app. Couple of (small) things: 1. Can you make the weather display in Centigrade? 2. Could you also add an icon to show whether an alarm is set, and if so, the time? (I guess if more than 1 alarm, just show the next one)

@DerouauxCarlo huh? It's $3.99 one time purchase and some of it is free! You only see a paywall on the pro screens when previewing!

@theclocksapp Good app, but I can tell you with that aggressive money tactic, you will miss out lots of potential customers.
