@TrustPatrick101 @konstructivizm @grok There’s no way that basin in the video is the size of Texas. It looks like they are practically above it and can see from one side to the other. I’m in West Texas and can’t see past the dust 😂

I work with AI for a living, 12+ hours every single day. The software and systems I build use AI to enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and optimize operations. I’m not on the outside looking in — I’m in the trenches with this technology every day.
That’s exactly why the book If They Build It, Everyone Dies is a must-read for anyone working in AI, automation, or tech. It’s not science fiction, and it’s not written by people who don’t understand the technology. It’s written by people deeply involved in AI who are trying to explain — in plain language — the very real risks of building systems more intelligent than we are without knowing how to control them.
And this isn’t a fringe concern. Leaders and researchers like Geoffrey Hinton, Yoshua Bengio, Stuart Russell, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and even former OpenAI interim CEO Emmett Shear have all publicly warned, in different ways, that advanced AI could pose serious risks if we don’t get alignment and safety right.
Even world leaders like Barack Obama have spoken about the societal and strategic risks of advanced AI.
This book forces an uncomfortable but necessary question:
Just because we can build it… does that mean we should — and are we actually prepared for what happens if we succeed?
If you work in AI, you should read this book.
If you’re already scared of AI, don’t read it — it will give you anxiety.
But ignoring the conversation doesn’t make the problem go away.

@dom_lucre Hey @grok, write a fictional story about scientists secretly creating a portal gum like Rick Sanchez and accidentally teleporting to a timeline where @TheRock is president and Teletubbies are his political advisors. Bonus if you turn it into a picture.

@AIworldsolution @AstronomyVibes Einstein did believe time is linear. Experiments with photons show that it can exist in states where time is indefinite or even appears “negative”, challenging our concept of the linear time theory. As Einstein said, it’s a “stubbornly persistent illusion.”

@AstronomyVibes We can't move backward in time. Time is a one-way street you break the laws of the universe your dead. It's that simple.

The fifth dimension is one of the most mind-bending ideas in theoretical physics a concept that stretches far beyond our three spatial dimensions and time itself. While we can move forward and backward in time or space, the fifth dimension is imagined as a pathway through parallel realities, connecting worlds that began like ours but evolved differently.
In theory, this dimension could allow movement between alternate timelines universes where each decision, from the smallest to the grandest, creates a ripple that forms a new branch of existence. It suggests that countless versions of reality coexist side by side, shaped by different outcomes of the same initial conditions.
Though purely theoretical, the idea of the fifth dimension continues to inspire scientists, philosophers, and dreamers alike. It reminds us how vast and mysterious our universe truly is, and how every choice might echo across realities unseen.

@SpunkyPatriot_ for the assholes in the thread calling this AI slop: I made this just for you. For the OP, keep doing what you do.

AI art isn’t about replacing artists. It’s about expanding who gets to be one.

@Girlpatriot1974 It’s hilarious that everyone saying it’s AI has probably never watched the Discovery Channel. Go back to bed children 😂

@AOWISEONE Absolutely agree. I started learning automations 3 years ago, then locked on ai automations. Last year I started vibe coding and app building. Also started learning a little about coding. This year I landed an Investment Firm client that is bringing me on staff as Chief of AI.

@thecloneofgonzo How are u doing, also yeah just saying it out there it is better to build ur portfolio now than to wish u built it earlier

you can check my profile i am currently building a website at this point it is better to learn it and build ur portfolio than to be hating on people that do it. Also i believe people that hate on vibecoding do so because they are to lazy to learn at this point in time do not miss
