I actually think the slowness, perhaps unintentionally, adds a lot to the game. If you take your time and appreciate it's world you may find out it has an amazing atmosphere.

@vitalepitts @Rickyy_00 @AkuNoEiyu17 that sounds like optimizing the fun out of the games for me. for competitive ev/iv training and the like? sure. for the main story??? the games arent even that long as far as RPGs go... youre rushing through the entire point of the game imo

Grinding is a chore, lessening the time commitment encourages me to try different strategies and replay more frequently, which is how I like to engage with pokemon. idk what a work means
