I’m amazed to see so many software job postings these days that explicitly mention the word “compassion.”
It wasn’t that long ago that I was laughed out of the room for suggesting that compassion is relevant to tech work.
The progress over the years is encouraging!

Solar PV update one month after installation:
☀️ We generated 785 kWh in March.
☀️ Yesterday alone, 1st April, we generated 72 kWh with peak production of 11.1 kW from our 17.2 kWp array.
The system is exceeding my expectations.

Richard Sharp, the Chair of the BBC should step down.
There’s no confidence in him. He should have stepped down already, but he selfishly put his own interests above rescuing the BBC’s plummeting reputation. Now he’s dragged it down even further. He’s got to go.
