@MartinSLewis Sounds like a great podcast. Helping parents think about how emotions get in the way of these decisions is crucial. Especially when trying to parent together when they’re not a couple anymore. Communication is critical at this time and having the skills to navigate that is key.

Do you have questions about divorce? Who decides where the children will live? When is it split 50-50 when not? What if I think my spouse is hiding money? How to discuss a pre-nupp? I'm recording a special podcast soon with specialists. If you've got a question to suggest pls post by reply?

Parenting when separated can be tough! Being on your own for periods of time with the children is difficult. Having friends and family and also professional support is invaluable. Make sure you have someone to lean on when you need it. ❤️ #Coparenting #TheCoParentWay

Helping your children feel in control, even in small ways such as letting them choose what you all eat for dinner (within reason!) or asking them if there’s anything in particular they’d like to do this weekend can make a huge difference. #TheCoParentWay

It’s unlikely you and your co-parent are going to be on the same page on every issue. It’s always for the best to chat through different issues with your co-parent, children respond well to not having to be caught in the middle of two parents. #TheCoParentWay
