@Jared_Tims Mike trout is arguably one of the best player in MLB history. BUT, sadly he has never been truly clutch. In my opinion he is not a natural leader. Love Mike Trout and I’m so glad he is loyal to my Halos, but he is flawed. Mike has entered the pujols era as an angel.

@TrentRushSports My problem is.. the Angels have had a terrible track record of developing young pitchers since the Perry era (and before). So why take such a risk on this guy. I feel front office thinks they outsmarted everyone, when really, we’re not outsmarting anyone or else we’d be winning.

Holliday may end up being special. But so could Bremner or someone who hasn’t even been drafted yet.
When Neto & Schanuel were taken the “experts” had concerns. They are now a huge part of Angels present and future.
