#CoupleFriendly on Prime - It's quite surprising and lovely to see a Telugu film showcasing Chennai in its most beautiful form. I love films that have their setting as a character in itself, and this is one such. A warm and beautiful love story that feels like a tight hug, even though it gets needlessly over dramatic towards the end after being so real and charming for two thirds of its runtime. Kudos to debutant Ashwin who has written the film so beautifully, his first half is a dream as he showcases the building of a small business while intertwining it with a cute love story. I was taken aback by the use of sharp dialogues in such a film, very good indeed. It is only in the second half that the film resorts to some sudden turns (though it's the core) which feel that they could have been organically pulled in better. The placement of dialogues and some character changes also do not come off in line with the film. This is what makes it fall short of greatness, but it still has enough to keep you going until the end. Loved the performances of the leads - @santoshsoban showcased the growth in maturity superbly while @varanasi_manasa is a great find and will go a long way across industries. Excellent contributions by DOP @DKP_DOP and editor @thecutsmaker - one of their career best works for sure. I'll look forward to Ashwin's next, I hope it comes with little more finesse cos I believe he could be a force to reckon with.

#CoupleFriendly (Telugu) - Beautiful love Film on the lines of SSE!! 😍 Mind blowing visuals from @DKP_DOP 💙🔥 Insane chemistry between the leads.. And the Heroine @ManasaVaranasi_ is such a beautiful find.. She looks so good on screen and acts really well too.. We’ll definitely be seeing her more often hereafter in South Indian films.. She’s the pillar of this film!! 💙 @santoshshoban has done a wonderful job with subtle reactions and smile mostly!! Great performance!! Loved the editing by @thecutsmaker and beautiful music by @adi_4595 💙👏 The incredible cinematography, chemistry and performances from the lead actors and the technical aspects makes this a wonderful theatrical watch despite a few shortcomings like immediate escalation of events at certain points, the convenience in moving the story and the on the face dialog driven moments at the end.. The silence and calmness in the treatment throughout could’ve been there even in the 3rd act.. But nevertheless despite the shortcomings, On the whole I loved this movie at most parts and overall this made me happy that we’ve spent some quality time in theatres, Which is a feel we very rarely get these days.. Wonderful debut by @manojac and I’ll be watching out for the next from him 💙 And I loved the end credits part where “A Film By” Staying constant and the name of Director, DOP, Producers and all major contributors of the film scrolls.. Don’t miss it on theatres makkaley!! 🚨😍
