I agree with Lily, it's over. Overwatch 2's skin prices are predatory. $100 for a bundle of these Nyan Café skins (or even individual high tier ones) is ridiculous when you look at what other games offer. Fortnite's battle pass is $10 and actually gives you multiple skins, emotes, and currency you can earn back. Apex and other hero shooters have way better value with their passes and events. Even full single-player games cost $60-70 and you own them outright no "you don't really own digital stuff" cop out while charging premium prices. Blizzard gutted the loot box system that let players earn skins for free in OW1, replaced it with this greedy shop, and now acts shocked when people call it out. They're nickel and diming the player base while delivering less. Overwatch 2's monetization has completely soured the game for a lot of people.

OVERWATCH SKIN PRICES ARE TERRIBLE! Finally, I get to talk about this! I have been wanting to complain for a long time. Would I reccomend Overwatch? Yes, but the store prices have always been Too Expensive. These new skins cost like $100 dollars. And there are people and bots willing to defend saying "you don't really own anything digital" which I think is an under anyalzed farce about 20 years late of discusssion. Digital is still very new in human history, and protection laws for the public have Been Lacking! So for $100, if it's something Blizzard the company sees you as "renting" and not Owning, at least unless they're forced by new consumer protection laws, those prices are kinda astronomically Bad.

Spice, I'm going to be honest I hate nux. I don't like his video or him. I am simply saying him being demonitized for being racist and crappy can be seen as bad if it was vice versa. Let's say me where I promote trans rights well what I was demonitized for that. This is a very scary line I don't like companies making. I think he should be allowed to be racist just as much as I am allowed not to be. That what I mean by free speech.

Demonetizing Nux Taku hurts free speech. Yeah, Nux sucks and I disagree with a lot of his political worldview especially when it comes to identity politics. A lot of his takes rub me the wrong way. But that doesn't mean YouTube should get to financially kneecap him and strip away his monetization because they (or mass reporters) don't like what he says. This is the exact kind of soft censorship that makes platforms dangerous. When demonetization becomes a tool to punish "wrongthink" instead of actual clear violations like fraud, spam, or direct threats, it stops being moderation and starts being viewpoint discrimination. If it can happen to Nux, it can happen to anyone who steps outside the approved narrative. You don't have to like the guy or agree with his content to defend the principle. Free speech only means something if you're willing to protect it for people you can't stand.

I agree with Moka (which shouldn't surprise anyone). "Permanently banned" on Twitch apparently just means a one week timeout if you're in the right circle. Ninna Line deserved to stay banned after everything she's done. Twitch's constant double standards and favoritism are pathetic at this point. Actual bad actors get a slap on the wrist while everyone else gets hammered for way less. The platform is a joke.
