Yesteryear... Take the original (unsold) bottles of the TLDC inaugural release - a 4 year old rye - pour them back into 1st fill sherry octaves. Wait 18 months. Take those sherry octaves and combined them into a refill sherry quarter cask. Wait 6 months. Voila! #TLDCWhisky

@_dramface Exhibiting 30 different things, all at the same time, all of which begged for explanations (which were often linked and complicated to all but nerds) was IMO not the correct recipe. But finance…and financial gearing at scale was what did for Waterford in the end.

Sad to see the end of Waterford, Ainsley shares his personal ideas on where things went wrong. @WessexSaint @TLDCWhisky The barley was all originally floor malted at Warminster. Water would be from the Thames supply....high in minerality and therefore ideal for fermentation.
