@OlukayodeGift @heisam001 Perhaps a softer face version can be unpredictable if well handled by a good director

@heisam001 I feel like Adesua can’t do it - she has a very soft face and aura. She can be a boss lady for sure but not a cold, calculating and bitchy boss lady - her face can’t portray wickedness. She’s a very soft babe. When you see Mallory, you just know she’s wicked.

Which of our top Nollywood actresses could fully own the role of Mallory in Beauty in Black? Think beauty, fashion, eloquence, poise, and unshakable confidence, the complete package. 💯👌🏾 #BeautyInBlack

@nwachineke_1 There's a likely chance you've been bottling up a lot and the experience with your nephews was enough to trigger the outburst of tears. There's nothing wrong with you crying but if it's okay, you can find someone to talk to and let out more. Someone that will see you and listen

I don’t know, but I feel like something has broken inside me because what I experienced this morning on my way to work was not ordinary. I can’t really explain what is wrong with me. Around 6 a.m., I was preparing for work when my two nephews started arguing. Their mother had gone to church and asked them to do some chores. The older one was telling the younger one to come downstairs so they could wash and clean the house, but the younger one refused because he was watching cartoons and started crying like kids normally do. I told the older one to leave him and come downstairs, but he insisted the younger one must follow. The younger one kept crying, and I quickly ran upstairs and hit the older one. He asked me why I hit him, saying he didn’t touch his brother. He went to his room and later came downstairs quietly to start washing the clothes. When I saw how sober he was, I felt very bad. I went to him, apologised, and told him he should have left his brother because you know how kids behave. I kept apologising and even planned in my mind to buy him something when I returned from work. I felt very emotional and guilty for hitting him. But on my way to work, while walking out of the estate to the junction to take a cab, I suddenly started crying. I mean, seriously crying, tears just coming out. It was unusual for me. I don’t know why. I feel like something has been broken in me, maybe since the incident that happened on Sunday. I feel emotionally down. This has never happened to me before. I don’t usually react to things like this or let them affect me deeply. I honestly don’t know if anyone has experienced something like this or if something is wrong with me. I just know that I haven’t cried in a very long time, and seeing myself crying like that this morning was strange. I had to force myself to stop so I could enter the car. I really don’t know what is wrong with me.🥹🥹🥹

@Usmanashafe They are both of different genres and served well in that capacity. However, October 1 is of a stronger value cause of the uniqueness of the story, plot and performance.

@gbagyifeemboy It comes down to proper structures. Every creative aspect of filmmaking must be well structured with industry rules and business regulations including money matters

When we are done talking about dance or not dancing— the next thing we should be addressing is how our films that gross so high in the box office pay writers peanuts. Producers have crazy budgets to shoot a film, and market their films but offer pepper money to writers.

@alaafinofEko It's quite related but at the end of the day, good acting matters. It's possible you take your chances at casting as a producer but just ensure that you make the best out of that cast.

After Wale Ojo and Shaffy Bello in Christmas in Lagos, another brilliantly performed mature (old) romance is between Dele Odule and Remi Surutu in "Iyawo Daddy Mi" by Wunmi Toriola on youtube. Highly Recommended

The Herd isn't about holding a tribe or religion accountable. We have been socially engineered to hate one another and thus affects how we think. Daniel Etim Effiong is a brilliant storyteller. This is timely, deep and thought-provoking

@irokocritic #NollywoodFilmClub Just for shades, Why didn't they allow Femi's Mum (Mercy Aigbe) and Wunmi Toriola clash at the climax. It was a necessary drama that will be satisfying

@irokocritic #NollywoodFilmClub Dislikes - there's something off about some of the characters speaking the Yoruba language. We need to be able to say it's Ijesha, Oyo, Egba, Ondo. - For such a period, I expect that food is made a character and not just for eating purpose.

@irokocritic #NollywoodFilmClub My likes include - Mercy Aigbe's performance - it's nice seeing Tobi Bakre is something different and indigenous - The production design and picture - Wunmi Toriola's subtle but yet strong motherly role

I do not regret spending an entire weekend on the new season of this series. Hal is definitely one of my favorite on-screen characters.

@OpeyemiAkande14 She got best supporting actress for Farmer's Bride but I would also want her to get an award for "My Mother is a Witch". Her performance definitely tops her role in Farmer's Bride
