don’t be rude to me and lie about not having any cc/mods in your game. And yes people can have issues with their game without it being related to mods/cc, that is not what I was talking about.

the amount of people still not understanding that UI mods almost always need to be updated… i could never be a cc/mod creator 🙃

@thefaeriesden Maybe you don't understand there's people that DO NOT HAVE MODS IN, yet still have the a failed to launch error.

@bloodgoodmaple I know it can be tedious at times but always read the descriptions of the mods/cc that you download🫶🏻 it can save you lots of stress and hassles

@deykxn tbh 2016-2017 was my favorite sims 4 era🥲 looking back the game was so bare but I remember having the most genuine fun back then & the community was very warm and welcoming (compared to what it’s like now😂🥲)

2021–2023 was peak sims 4 for me.. even the businesses & hobbies era was SO good, but then it kept declining every month with some bullshit and now we're at a spot were the community is at its lowest and the only people left in the eacn either can't move on, have ai pfps, or are cc creators (no shade) 😭

i know the sims 4 was never great to many but god have they fucked this game up severly in the matter of a year...

@thefaeriesden yeah I did that lol! i’ve also been trying each file individually in my folder (like one package file) and it still won’t start

@AjTheeSimmer Ah that’s really frustrating! I was mainly talking about the black screen issue. Did you try taking everything out and repairing your game? (Sorry iknow this is annoying advice if you already tried it😅)

@thefaeriesden well yes, but even with some of my most basic cc with nothing else, my game isn’t loading 🫥
