▪️A 31-year-old woman from Taloja village in Navi Mumbai has been booked for attacking her husband with a knife following a domestic dispute. According to police, the incident took place around 2 am when the husband was asleep at home. ▪️Investigators said the woman allegedly injured her husband’s genitals with the knife during the attack. Hearing his screams, the victim raised an alarm, after which his mother rushed to the room to help him. ▪️Police said the accused then threw hot water on her mother-in-law, causing burn injuries to her face. Both the injured husband and his mother were later admitted to hospital for treatment. ▪️After the attack, the woman fled the house with the knife. Police teams later began searching for her at possible locations, including her maternal home in Khopoli, but she was reportedly untraceable at the time of the report. ▪️According to police, the injured husband is a 45-year-old auto driver who has three children from his first marriage. A preliminary investigation suggested that disputes had been ongoing because the accused allegedly wanted to live separately, while the husband and his mother opposed the demand. ▪️Based on the husband’s complaint, police registered a case under provisions related to voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous weapons.
