Jermaine was a joy to work with and we were so excited for our young audiences to get to experience his brilliant acting and vibrant personality. We miss him tremendously. ❤️ We wanted to share the words he sent to us when he was cast below-

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our young actors, Jermaine Mokwe. Jermaine had recently joined us and had been fantastic in his first few performances as Macbeth and as Fred in A Christmas Carol.

Christmas came early to Gumley this week when the English Department invited @theglobeplayers into school to perform, "A Christmas Carol" to Year 10 and Year 11. The students really enjoyed the performance and asked some excellent questions about casting decisions at the end.
