The beauty of indie animation is that people get to tell their stories, on their own terms!! I, for one, want to tell the story of "Stuck In The Globosphere" in any way I can! I don't need Glitch or other major studios, I just need my story out in the world in some way :)

hey i think if were also gonna discuss how to care about indie animation we need to accept this idea that some people's end goal isnt to be picked up by a bigger indie studio or a corporation. but also if a creator wants to do that, it's also perfectly fine

@costumeGrotto @ToonHive I respect that. I definitely felt a pang of frustration with every new "transported to a mysterious world" show as I grew up, knowing by the time I'd be old enough to make my own show (aka now, at 25), my idea might feel overdone. But I know I have fresh takes within!

@costumeGrotto @ToonHive then the show is not for you, which is fine! I think it's a little unfair to dismiss the entire show as lacking in creativity because one minor aspect though, but I'm biased lol
