Post university, interchanging "university" with "course", "program", or whatever I'm doing with my life, the saying continues to ring true. Engaging with content from fellow Forgers has allowed me to learn from their reflections. That is always an interesting experience. #PM

Like many others, those famous words were said to me as a university student. My reaction to hearing them was far less sarcastic though.

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 15 "The university passes through you as you pass through the university." Profound hook. I know.

The PM is responsible for considering every stakeholder—not only users but also employers—ensuring that while the product meets users' needs, it also remains profitable. #productmanagement

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 14 Value—the quality of something or someone that imparts worth and importance. One of the first things I understood studying product management is that beyond being a "tech role that does not need coding," it is all about providing value.

I still find myself struggling to document my journey so openly. Sharing my thoughts and details about my interests online, while a bit nerve-racking, does have its benefits. Do you also struggle with this? #productmanagement #buildinginpublic

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 13 The classroom phase of this learning journey is gradually winding down to its end. What a phase it has been! 😊

It's time for another #321Challenge with FUTUREFORGE LEARNING INITIATIVE Kicking off with three wins I've had over the past four weeks: 1. Surprisingly, I was spotlighted in my cohort by Futureforge for my consistency with challenges and I got a prize. Yay me! 😊

Week 12 at @FutureforgeL We learnt product metrics and analytics Metrics show what’s happening. Analytics explains why. Think less about “what are we building next?” and more about “is this even working?” What’s one metric that actually proves a product is useful?

What would you do if you were a PM whose numbers scream 'successful product' while target users might beg to differ? #productmanagement

Product metrics are the measurable product-related data that tell the success or shortcomings of a product. Words may lie, but the numbers won't. The "analytics" part refers to the process of understanding the figures and moving from confusion to clarity. Next, action.

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 12 Last week, we learnt about product metrics and analytics, an important part of the job where you get to determine whether or not your "big idea" is a big success. Or . . . a big failure.

Next: Two challenges I've experienced are maintaining my consistency with documenting my journey online and ensuring consistent growth. Finally, one insight through all of this would be that while consistency might be challenging, it can also be rewarding. #productmanagement.

2. I've been able to connect with multiple industry experts since I began documenting my PM journey. 3. I've been enjoying the journey and growing as a PM.

Oftentimes, it is only after acceptance that progress can be achieved. As I continue to grow in knowledge, I hope to be able to recognise where I may need improvement. After all, there is no pinnacle of knowledge. #productmanagement

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 11 A memorable piece of advice I received recently from a colleague is to accept when there are gaps in knowledge or skills.

My execution explored user research, design thinking, customer development and insights, and product requirements. My delivery included a product requirement document, user stories for different features, and a user journey map. AI was a helpful brainstorming tool.

Learning with @FutureforgeL: Week 10 Last week, I submitted my first project—an assessment of my understanding of different topics covered, summarized into a fictional tech startup called BookEase. It was exciting to apply what I have learned. I felt like a PM on the job. 😊
