“Wait, really?” Isabella asked, smiling shyly. “I didn’t want to assume, but I sort of hoped we were going anyway. But being asked is way better!” “So you’ll really go with me?” “Of course!” Isabella grinned, pulling Georgia to her. “As if I’d want to go with anyone else.”

Georgia stepped closer, taking Isabella’s hands in her own. “I’ll be more than okay… if you go to prom with me?” she finally said. “I mean, if you don’t, that’s okay too. But I know I’d like to go — with you, of course.”

While it wasn’t a secret that the pair cared for one other, they still hadn’t made things official, leaving Georgia questioning her decision to ask Isabella to prom. “I came as soon as you texted! You’re okay, right? … You look a bit pale.”

Speaking of promposals… The next day after school, Georgia anxiously waited at the back of the school after chess practice. She’d texted Isabella and asked to meet up, but her confidence was quickly evaporating. “Hey, you,” Georgia said weakly as she caught sight of Isabella.

@Amyle122 I get that! Just seems like most people have moved over there and it’s a lot more lively (and less dramatic).

@thehungrysimmer I personally don’t care for Bluesky that much I prefer Twitter (it annoys me so much it doesn’t save where I left off always pushes me to the top of my following)

I’m still deciding if I should post any sims content here.. 🔵☁️ is a much better platform and I’m keeping my legacy archived on my tumblr. Maybe I’ll finish out gen. 6’s teen years before calling it quits here. Just some 7 am thoughts 🤔

Poppy went straight home, high off the thought that maybe - just maybe - she had a real shot of rekindling things with Finn. Her next plan of attack? Operation: Promposal.

‘Pop… He called me Pop,’ she thought to herself, swooning like a 13-year-old girl. There was no question about it. The feelings she’d once had for her ex were barreling back in like a wrecking ball.

“Maybe once we’re all settled in, you can come check it out!” Finn grinned, making Poppy’s stomach so somersaults. “Oh, yeah, sure! Let me know!” she stumbled over her words. “Will do. Catch you later, Pop.”

“Oh, I could’ve helped,” she suggested sheepishly. “Nah, it’s all good. Besides we’re nearly done anyway. Can’t wait to sleep in the new place!” “Did you have to move for a reason or —?” “Uh, well, ma got a new job, a better job! It’ll be good for her,” Finn nodded.

Apart from a few rushed greetings in the halls, Poppy hadn’t been able to chat with Finn since her talk with Mr. Don. “Someone’s been keeping busy,” Poppy remarked as Finn plopped down next to her. “You have no idea. Mom and I are moving. I can barely feel my arms.”

Poppy, of course, took first place at the Western Pleasure competition!
