👏It’s a wrap! The 2024 IFRS Integrated Thinking and Reporting Conference ended with a fireside chat between IASB Vice-Chair Linda Mezon-Hutter and ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd, moderated by Jonathan Labrey. Thank you to our speakers and everyone who joined! #ITIRConference2024

Vice-Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry @METI_JPN Takehiko Matsuo gave us a fascinating insight into corporate value creation and the development of integrated reporting in Japan.

Our final panel session provided the business and investor case for integrated reporting. Our panel discussion looked into the benefits of using the Integrated Reporting Framework alongside IFRS Standards. @EFFAS President Jesús López Zaballos closed the session with a speech.

This afternoon's theme at the #ITIRConference24 was “Reinforcing value”. 📸#1 - We explored how regulators are addressing the integration of sustainability disclosures with mandatory financial reporting requirements to help ensure information is connected and consistent.

📸#3 #IASB’s Management Commentary and how the IASB is laying the groundwork for future thinking on integration in reporting. 📸#4 The final morning session gave attendees a deep dive into how the Integrated Reporting Framework can help companies prepare to adopt IFRS S1.

#ISSB Chair Emmanuel Faber addressed the 2024 Integrated Reporting Conference reflecting on: 🤝 His long personal journey as a member of the integrated reporting community going back to 2009 and his time at Danone. #ITIRConference24

📖 Andreas also told the audience that the IASB is finalising its project on Management Commentary to issue an updated Practice Statement. He noted that this work has already heavily drawn on Integrated Reporting principles in both concepts and language.
