BREAKING: Fox News attempts pathetic damage control after igniting outrage by dangerously calling President Biden a "WANNABE DICTATOR" who has had his "POLITICAL RIVAL ARRESTED" after Donald Trump was arraigned for his classified documents crimes. Fox stopped short of offering a full-throated apology for the reckless chyron — even though it could have easily encouraged deranged MAGA fans to carry out more violent attacks — and simply said that the text "was taken down immediately and was addressed." How exactly the propaganda was "addressed" is unclear and it seems safe to presume that no one at the right-wing network will face any kind of real consequences for their shameless behavior. The revelations about Justice Thomas' undisclosed luxury travel, funded by a GOP donor, are why we need a robust code of ethics for the Supreme Court. There must be a thorough investigation and disclosure. Transparency and an enforceable code of ethics are essential.

@D_harks I'm saying you're being highly selective. There are problems that I'm guessing you weren't as bothered by, say, 3 or 4 years ago. Certain regions I'm guessing you won't scrutinize as much as other regions when it comes to certain issues. You really are capable of more nuance, D.

QAnon's conspiracy theory - that Democrats "are irredeemably evil and bent on destroying America" - has been mainstreamed. I hear it more and more in the language of friends and family whose media diet is all in the MAGA bubble. It's really sad to see.
