Ran into Prof (then Dr) Abiola, one of my lecturers in the uni, at an airport today. Taught me Public Finance (B) and Fiscal Policy (A) in 300L in Ife in 2004/2005. Hadn't seen him in 20+ years. He was a great teacher. Made the courses practical. May God bless all our teachers

Ed Sheeran’s cameo in Game of Thrones was done as a surprise gift for Maisie Williams(Arya Stark), because she’s a big fan of his music. Even Ed Sheeran himself said it was meant to be a surprise for Maisie… but Sophie Turner(Sansa Stark) basically went: “oh yeah when’s Ed coming?” and ruined it 😭

I had a friend like this some years ago. Everything he didn’t have, he criticized and talked down on. He said he didn’t like iPhone and claimed Android was the best thing that happened since the creation of man. Guess who is using an iPhone 17 Pro Max now? 😂 One thing I don’t do is talk down on what I can’t afford at the moment. It’s just like saying buying a Richard Mille is a waste of money because I can’t afford one. There is no luxury in the world that is not worth it if you can afford it. It is one thing to be content with what you currently have. It is another thing to admit and admire lovely things when you see them instead of dismissing them as vanity or talking down on them. Nobody hates expensive things like a poor person. Advice go just full their mouth. They see expensive perfumes and ask why someone should spend 500k or more to buy just perfumes. Lol, it’s just because they don’t have the money. Most of the things you think you hate currently might surprise you; you don’t hate them, you are just broke. I love “vanities” and I will get as many of them as I can.

@dhaboy01 Daenerys never needed a sword… her weapon was three dragons and pure aura. Jorah was the one doing the fighting while she was doing the conquering.

If Daenerys knew how to handle a sword I guess Ser Jorah Mormont would be alive.. A Queen that doesn’t know combat just aura farming Dragons..
