I’m watching Kalonzo Musyoka and I have to say... this is actually a really solid interview. He is raising some uncomfortable questions. He’s saying Smartmatic shouldn’t be anywhere near Kenyan elections since it's even been flagged in the US and whether you agree or not, that’s a debate we can’t just ignore. Then he asks something that honestly made me wonder too If William Ruto believes Rigathi Gachagua is a “murderer”… why did he choose him as DP? He asked . He indicated that Rigathi has never called the president a dog etcetra. He also talks about the issue of Ruto telling police to shoot young people in the legs... and you can tell he’s not comfortable with that kind of thinking. He has spoke against it. But what stood out for me the most? He’s calm. No insults. No shouting. Just… calm. And maybe that’s why some people don’t take him seriously. Or maybe that’s exactly what Kenya is missing right now. Anyway, maybe I’m wrong.... But do you guys think calm leadership can actually work in Kenya today?
