🚨THE NAACP IS TELLING BLACK STUDENT ATHLETES TO SKIP COLLEGES NOW? The NAACP launched the “Out of Bounds” campaign Tuesday, urging Black student athlete recruits to withhold commitments from major Southern universities—primarily SEC schools in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee—in protest of new congressional maps they say dilute Black voting power. The move follows recent Supreme Court rulings ending race-based gerrymandering. NAACP President Derrick Johnson said the organization will not watch schools that profit from Black athletic talent stay silent while Black communities lose political representation.
