Netflix is teaming up with NASA to bring space a little closer to home. Beginning this summer, Netflix will begin to stream LIVE rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, mission coverage, and breathtaking live views of Earth from the International Space Station.

Was just talking with a friend about Jordan Breen. I wasn't tight with Jordan, but I knew him well enough to know I liked him. And I always deeply respected his knowledge of MMA. My mate noted that, while it is lovely to see all these tributes today, it does nothing to help Jordan. He’s not here to see it. He'll never know. None of us get out alive. We are all flies. All of us are going to drop. So maybe - if there’s someone you admire, even from a distance - tell em. A DM. A reply. A comment. Just let them know. Because one day, it'll be their turn to have 24 hours of beautiful tributes they will never see... and then the world will move on. Better they hear it while they’re alive.

There is nothing more I enjoy in life than making Office Space references in casual conversation and somebody knowing what I am talking about.

It's 2025. Time to talk about time. We've officially put a bow on the first quarter of the 21st century and are in day one of quarter #2. Times we grew up envisioning as the far future aren't so far away anymore. Even if lifespans stayed as they are now, many of today's college students will live to see the 22nd century. Many of today's babies will still be in the peak of their careers in the year 2100. And 2040, 2060, and 2100 are now closer to us than 2010, 1990, and 1950. Likewise, much of what still feels like recent history is beginning to look a lot like ancient history. NSYNC's "Tearing Up My Heart" came out closer to the moon landing than to today. E.T. hit theaters closer to the 1930s than to today. And Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way" was released nearer to World War I than the present moment. If Back to the Future were released today, Marty would be heading back to the ridiculously retro year 1995. His teenage parents would be doing hilariously old things like talking on big cell phones and hanging out in AOL chat rooms. And of course, no existential time crisis would be complete without The Wonder Years. The show aired from 1988-1993 and took place in the years 1968-1973. If the show debuted today, it would be set in 2005-2010 and cover nostalgic old things like Obama's election, Instagram like counts, and Taylor Swift concerts. Happy New Year, and thanks for keeping me company during this rapid little life we're all living. 🫶

@GMHikaru Fide forced an underaged girl today, wearing a jeans, to change. The girl out of emergency took a scarf from her mother&wrapped it around her hips, becoming a sort of “skirt” with naked legs…Last year they weren’t strict to top players, this year at least no one is above rule!

In light of today's events, should every chess player at the World Rapid tournament in New York City wear jeans tomorrow??

The Canadian dollar just closed it's lowest price since January of 2016.

If you don't pay attention to these two things in life you will get left behind: technology and economic markets.

Since May of 2021 the Canadian dollar has lost over 15% purchasing power vs USD.

You can cling to the past or embrace the future

This is one of the reasons I’m not too bearish on the U.S. housing market.
