I didn’t want to post about it like everyone else
but there’s a saying in finance...
when the market panics - that’s when you double down
during a gold rush, most people panic when the easy gold disappears
the ones who stay are the ones who actually know how to mine
so the phase where every random Indian kid could become your competitor overnight
is over
from now on, you can’t just post random AI slop videos for less than $1 and monetize a network of channels easily
c’mon guys, it was easy for a long time anyway
everybody got used to making money with as little input as possible
years ago, before AI, we had big teams of freelancers: scriptwriters, voice-over actors, video editors
now people in the YTA business don’t even know how to hire them
everybody wants a cheap VA to generate the whole video with AI and upload it on YouTube
it’s normal for a business to face problems
if everything was easy and chill, everyone would do it
ecom guys always have their Facebook accounts terminated
faceless TikTokers got used to instant random RPM drops
with Amazon FBA it’s even worse: Amazon can terminate a whole brand where people have 6,7 figures on the account
crypto guys get f*cked from every possible side
people who sell anything online face problems with payment processors, holds, chargebacks
IT IS BUSINEEEESS
it’s not for pussies, nor for lazy dudes
who dream only about passive income
you have to face problems
that’s what differentiates you, gives you value, and makes you money
mainly you see problems on your Twitter feed because it’s negative
negativity bias always provokes attention
(that’s why we use it so well for YouTube packaging, lol)
I survived much crazier, unpredictable times in 2018
when YouTube went wild on reused content
and that’s exactly why I always talk in my videos and tweets about never having only one thing
not one channel
not one IP
not one AdSense
not one niche or format
±90% of the guys complaining on Twitter ran cheap AI slop often on a single AdSense
and got everything wiped
so what actually should be different from now:
solutions:
- diversity of footages, forget about 1-3 images for 2h video
– no copy-paste title patterns, no abused thumbnail templates, no identical hooks or scripts
- a spokesperson for the channel (a real face) would be the best
- unique footage B-rolls/background
- CMS managed channels don’t get hit with inauthentic (if it’s a good CMS)
- adding real educational value
- using custom AI voices
and etc
it’s not about spending $1k+ on 2D/3D animation to “protect” a channel
Vidrush channels don’t get hit with inauthentic or terminated as AI slop but they can be created with a few clicks
we see on Twitter that even “branded” channels get problems
“branded channels” is just a marketing label people use on Twitter
to differentiate themselves or sell a “new” business model when everyone is scared
YouTube is a purely technical, capitalistic supply/demand platform
it doesn’t care how much you spend on a video or how many times you refined the script
if that mattered, Netflix and Disney would dominate YouTube with multimillion-dollar budgets
youtube can’t kill all faceless YTA channels because, firstly
they’re a big chunk of its revenue, IT IS what people want to watch
which brings us to the second thing:
the majority of YouTube viewers are dumb
they can’t differentiate a $5 production from a $5k one
if they don’t like the idea or the thumbnail - they don’t click
that’s why 2026 will be even more interesting
during 2025, the audience market got established so hard
that a big part of middle-aged and older US viewers can’t live without AI slop anymore lol
that market is still there - we just deliver DIFFERENTLY
if you know how to tackle it properly, you can grow faster now
many channels in competitive niches are demonetized/terminated
I attached a screenshot showing that after the recent inauthentic period
when most channels in the niche got hit and stopped uploading
my channel, with safety methods implemented, almost doubled views and revenue
same with my students like Tennex here, who keeps only scaling
so yeah, 2026 is going to be very interesting
ah I think that's it, I explained as much as I could🙏
