In my Solidity class today, I learned about mappings and storage locations. Understanding how data is stored and managed on-chain gives a different perspective compared to traditional development. Taking it step by step as I continue my journey into blockchain development.

Back to building today. In JavaScript, I focused on exceptions — learning how to properly throw and catch errors. It made me realize that writing code isn’t just about making things work, but also handling when things go wrong.

One thing that really stood out to me was the importance of networking. I was able to connect with some amazing people, and it made me realize that building relationships is something I need to take more seriously. Grateful for the experience and everyone I met.

Today reminded me that being a developer is more than just writing code. I attended a career bootcamp hosted by RCCG Kings Court, OAU, and it was honestly an amazing experience.

Small mistake… but it messed me up for a bit. Also realizing something: Some code looks very simple when you see the solution. But the thinking behind it? Not simple at all!

I thought I understood objects in JavaScript… until today. I was looping through an array and updating an object. Instead of using square brackets, I used dot notation. It looked right. But it kept failing.
