@MangsAlt my other peeve: saying “based off of” instead of “based on” - i had a prof in grad school who would go “you don’t base your house *off* of its foundation!” 😹

@MangsAlt people use it to sound fancier but most of the time you can just say “use” and get your meaning across just fine. i feel this way about a lot of corporate speak too!
