@IyanuAdee @thourlarnee I agree and disagree, that’s not the only thing to look out for. There are a lot more factors that needs to be considered but I get your point.

@themadeenah @thourlarnee April 8 is the dividends qualification date. So it is a month post dividends already. It closed at N760 on 8th April and it is now N915, it shows there's still a lot of value ex-dividend. The Q1 2026 result is what you need to look at to know if it's still worth buying.

@Rabbiklo Yes, but stock is also a win and lose thing. This advice is for a safer entry, and between MAY 5th is almost here.

@themadeenah I know of someone still waiting for MTN is dip since its was at #600 but the stock is still rallying to #1,500.

@ngx_wolf For clarifications, MTN is solid, but timing matters. A safer entry might be after the payment date for upcoming dividend which is May 5.
