Any ideas of what I can do with these decking off cuts? I have about 20 of them…approx 12” long. They are a little dusty but otherwise in great condition and I can’t just throw them away….there has to be a way to up-cycle them into something.

@100AcresRanch You seen the cheap 6kw ECGSolax models? Split phase capable. Under $400 same 500v PV input. They have a 10k too cheap need to get one to beat up

Why do I direct dc units? Because power inverters are not only inefficient but they also don’t last worth af. Pulling the old Xbox swap on em 2 for one Gfy’s.

In return: Starlink is a MF legend, photos/videos tagged, dual load-balanced dish setup. Hackers LOVE experimenting—let's give them Starlink to play with! RT if you want to see real off-grid hardware hacking powered by satellite internet. 🔥 More info: kernelcon.org DM open / email in bio. @Starlink team—let's chat? 🛰️❤️ #Starlink #SpaceX #HackerCon #OffGridTech @hackspaceio (4/4)

@Starlink @SpaceX @elonmusk — this is a dream showcase: Off-grid solar + Starlink = zero terrestrial Live demos of your tech in hacker hands Massive exposure to HUNDREDS of security pros/influencers Potential case study: "Starlink powers Kernelcon's off-grid village" One or two kits + short service would make it happen! And, we already have dishy hardware....just need service. (3/4)

.@_kernelcon_ 2026 is going FULL OFF-GRID this year! Hotel wants HUGE $$$$$$ for internet. Nope. We've built massive solar + battery/inverter systems to power the entire Hardware Hacking Village. No grid. But we need connectivity to match the vibe. @Starlink would be PERFECT. #Kernelcon #OffGrid #HardwareHacking (Thread 1/4)

@sovernTranch Agreed. But electric fence still sucks. 😎 HATE it when the MF whitetail deer run through and destroy everything.

Only thing keeping him from coming over those two strands of twine is 9000 volts You don’t need expensive elaborate fences You need docile animals and a hot fence charger The reason people go broke farming is because they spend money they don’t have to spend

@agronomistryan1 Splints, pipe, 3d print something, flex and straighten them daily. Neighbor has a calf born like this and over just a few days he had it mostly cleared up and walking OK.

Anyone have experience with a calf like this? Front leg are bent back and to the side. Massive calf. Assuming it got cramped in womb and things had to bend to make room. Fixes? Or is it goodbye time. Born about 48 hours ago.

@100AcresRanch For sure watching this....I had the same problem when I was working with a single turbine. I figured adding a 2nd would work but I didn't want to make the investment at the time

After 3 years of trying everything to get these windmills to make power I’ve finally got a solution. No 2000$ mppt per windmill just series a second one in line to raise the voltage, then you’ll have actual usable power. I should see 30amps if not 60amps at 48v. Wind power lfg!

GIVEAWAY: When my multimeters are returned by Amazon customers they are often returned in a state that is not suitable for putting back on the shelf (damaged box or whatever) . Instead of Amazon scrapping them I get them sent to a local in California who distributes them various hackers spaces and school. He currently has 4 x BM235's and 4 x BM786's that needs a good home. First one to DM me with a suitable needy school or hacker space gets them. Paying for shipping would be appreciated. Please, no suggestions, I need to hear from the person at the school/maker space.

It's easy to say what should be done ...but it's scary as shit when this happens to you and you have seconds to make choices. Been there. Gotten lucky a few times, learned a bit, and used the lessons learned. I sure this guy learned a lot here. Drop the tiller. Grab a low gear, no brakes, clutch out. Steer with slight wheel turning. Too much makes the front plow straight ahead Walk the hill in advance. Know the angles, have a plan. Best way to avoid danger is to not put yourself there in the first place

@j00ny369T We do this all the time with wood posts and then put one back in the same hole. Usually 4 feet in the ground- screw in a big lag bolt with a chain and pull the busted piece out 👍

@100AcresRanch Do you weld angles together to make a channel and slide panels in from the end or do you use clamps to tie the panels to the angle iron rails
