Blossom Plaza (2016)—In the Chinatown district of downtown Los Angeles, this development—with its lantern-lit streetscapes and intricately-patterned avenues—knits together a rich pedestrian experience, public artworks, contemporary architecture and a dynamic landscape.

University Park at MIT (2001)—A collective of residences, offices, retail and greenspace. Forest City formed a partnership with MIT in 1983. Utilizing 30 acres adjacent to campus, Forest City was inspired by MIT emerging as an incubator for innovative ideas in life sciences.

Central Park Denver (2002)—Forest City transformed all 7.5 miles of runways, concourses & terminals of the former Stapleton International Airport into a vibrant community—and the largest urban in-fill redevelopment in the country.

Met Lofts (2006)—Met Lofts combines innovative architecture, public art & landscaping. LA-based design firm Electroland won a competition to create large-scale public art for the building. The result is the distinctive interactive LED “carpet” on the outdoor ground level.

Arris (2016)—Luxury apartments situated within 5 million sq. ft. of historic Navy land, converted by Forest City into The Yards. The reflective outer shell of Arris emphasizes its place on the Washington D.C. riverfront—one of the most striking places to live in the city.⁠

NY by Gehry (2012)—An iconic landmark in the NYC skyline. We tapped the incomparable Frank Gehry to design something unique & unforgettable. The result is a rippling, shining feat of construction and engineering—80 stories of sparkling waves in Deconstructivist style.

Denver, CO—One River North celebrated topping out in December 2022. A poignant visual shift from other real estate in Denver, One River North redefines urban living through biophilic design. Expected opening late 2023.

Introducing Wilder—construction is in progress for this 187-suite, 8-story residence on the edge of Denver’s Sloan Lake & West Colfax neighborhoods, adjacent to the Mile High Stadium district. Designed to suit those looking to connect to community. Expected to open 2023.⁠

Inspired by Colorado landscapes—at One River North, everything connects to the outdoors. The construction team is progressing on the open-air rift, allowing views of the 4-story walkway & water feature. The team recently celebrated level 16 topping out with the final deck pour.

Construction has begun on the Van Aken Phase II residences, positioned between Van Aken District & Shaker Heights Country Club. The two-tower design with adjoining bridges creates a visual lightness—the building is seen but can also be seen through. Opening expected summer 2024.
