Today, my father Ron & I share that my mother, Rosetta Linda Adkins, passed away on Friday, July 7 at 7:00 pm, w/ my dad, her sister Jacalyn, & myself by her side. After a long & hard-fought battle w/#FrontotemporalDementia, Rosetta is no longer suffering & now at complete peace.

i really think my purpose as a storyteller/creative is to encourage the creative underdog. — not everyone’s growth & trajectory is going to be “explosive” or “blown up”, but you have to know your art & creative expression still has value.

my job isn’t to figure out how it’s going to happen, it’s to show up & watch God make it happen. ❤️‍🔥

Fall back in love with those things you used to love. The childhood hobbies. The songs you used to play that always made you smile. Your favorite foods and drinks growing up you haven’t had in a while. Adulthood is overwhelming at times. Your life could use a little nostalgia.

There’s a you that existed before your trauma that is crying out to be remembered. There was so much light. There was a softness in your heart that came from the purest place. May you get back to that person. May you relocate the version of you that lives outside of your pain.
