the obsession with building has poisoned the brain of many people who would have otherwise been successful... you DO NOT need your own product and if you've never sold anything before, you probably shouldn't chances are you've used plenty products that you felt were amazing - perhaps a service, software, or an infoproduct just resell that for a commission if you're tryna solve both product & distribution as a first-timer you're setting yourself for failure

this is exactly what happened to music > barrier to record an album in 2000: a studio, a label, $500k > barrier to record an album in 2015: a laptop and garageband > result: more music than ever. most of it niche. some of it massive software is about 5 years behind that curve vibe coders with claude code are the new bedroom producers and the bedroom producers won do with that what you will
Naval@naval

Software will proliferate just as videos, music, writing did. The market structure will shift from a “fat middle” to mega-aggregators and a long tail. It’ll be a slower process due to network effects, but many traditional vendor lock-ins will get eaten by AI.

My worst trading habit is listening to the devil on my shoulder. When it works, the voice gets louder. The problem is I get rewarded for risk but that same voice keeps me from stopping while I'm ahead. This year is about learning to stop while ahead and executing with discipline.

Many of you actually do have good instincts. But your problem is the lack of execution. - You knew the oil trade was something to watch when missiles were fired at Iran. - You saw PUNCH and recognized its virality early. - You saw Moltbook and realized this was something novel. But you didn't pull the trigger. Train that part of your brain and be biased towards action. Take the extra step to do more research or open a position. Just get some exposure, you don't need to risk much. The goal is to shorten the time between awareness and action.

🧵 TikTok Farm Playbook — Part 5/20: Warmup Phase 0-1 (why your first 5 days determine everything) ⬆️ Previously: Mobile proxies > residential > VPN. TikTok only checks ASN + GEO. Fraud scores are useless. This is the step that separates farms that print money from farms that burn accounts. 90% of people create an account and post within hours. Every single one of those accounts dies under 300 views. Every. Single. One. TikTok builds a behavioral model of your account BEFORE it distributes your content. It needs to understand who you "are" - what niche, what audience, what engagement patterns. Phase 0: Lurker (Days 1-2) - Scroll FYP 5 min per account, 2x/day - Watch videos to COMPLETION - Like only in your exact niche - Follow 5-10 relevant accounts - DO NOT POST ANYTHING Phase 1: Training (Days 3-5) - Search keywords in your niche - Filter by "last 3 months" - Like + comment under relevant videos - Leave comments like "this is interesting" or "never thought about it like this" - Avoid emojis and questions early - Follow max 5 new accounts per day in niche Goal: your FYP should be 70%+ niche-aligned with mostly US-based creators. When you see that - you're ready to post. Not before. We tested skip-warmup vs 5-day warmup across 50+ accounts. The warmed ones had 3-4x higher survival rates. ⬇️ Next: Your first posts and the 700-view health test that tells you if your account is alive or dead 🔁 Repost if useful. Follow for the full series.

Everyone talks about "TikTok Organic" like it's easy money. "Just post 3 times a day and go viral." But when you actually try it? 0 views. 200 views jail. Shadowbans. We burned dozens of accounts and over $10,000 figuring this out. We thought our content was the problem. It wasn't. It was our Infrastructure. We were making invisible mistakes that killed our reach before we even started: ❌ Using "dirty" Apple IDs ❌ Leaked IPs ❌ Rushing the warmup phase ❌ Scaling too early ❌ Copying formats too late Most guides fail because they ignore the tech stack. They teach you to be a creator, not an operator. Once we fixed the backend, everything changed. Now we generate 500k-1 Million organic views/month. I documented our entire internal SOP. ~50 pages of pure operator logic. No fluff. It covers: → Infra (Device & Network) → Warmups (The exact protocol before posting) → Testing (Validating account health) → Decay & Recovery (How to fix view drops) → Scaling (Safe expansion SOPs) → Kill Rules (Knowing exactly when to abandon an account) I'm giving the full manual away for free. Want it? 1. Like this post 2. Comment “GUIDE” 3. Follow me (so I can DM you the link)

What Keeps Us Safe Limits Us Every 3-5 years I get a really good insight, and I mean a REALLY good insight that once you hear it, it changes everything. Last one I got was "You cannot be aware of a problem and KEEP the problem, UNLESS you LIKE having the problem." And to this day, I still see people talk about it, not because it sounds good, not because it’s clever, and not because it makes for a powerful quote… ...But because it's the truth. In the mind, beliefs are simply truths, and when the mind is met with a new truth, it realizes the old truth was a lie all along. And these lies are what keep us stuck, keep us limited, keep us from moving forward... ...Keep us from living our best lives, keep us from making millions, keep us small. Every week, in NHB+, I start a call with mindset work, every single work, because on my journey, once I mastered the skills to generate millions of dollars, I was generating them for a whole lot of people, but not primarily for myself... ...For friends, business partners, and everyone else, but myself, and much of that stemmed from growing up in poverty. Many of us in the game don't come into the game because we're born with a silver spoon in our mouths, we come to the game to escape something... ...Poverty, low-self worth, and powerlessness. Most of us find the skills to generate money, but the deep roots of mental binds follow us, and that's why you see so many of us dealing with unable to move forward on their own offers, making clients richer, and staying stuck, running in place. Most of us are stuck, running in place. Sure, we have the skills, the know-how and can do things, but does your bank account reflect it? There's a gap, and it's between the mindset and the skill set. And you know how they say, "the truth will set you free", well here's another truth that truly will set you free, and it's this: "What keeps us safe, limits us." If you dig in the depths of your mind, what you'll find is that your subconscious had only one job, which is to keep you safe, yet what keeps us safe, limits us... ...Because to be safe is to be stable, to not change, to remain as-is, but to do so, means not moving forward, changing, growing, evolving... ...And that inner friction you feel every single day, knowing what you need to do, knowing that you don't need to know how to do it all, yet knowing you can learn and figure it out, and still not making progress is what torments us. What keeps us safe, limits us. Don't just think about this, dwell on it. Dwell on the fact that job that keeps you safe, limits you from running your own offer. The fact that the market you're in, limits you from seeing just how much more money is in other markets. The fact that having a certain idenity such as being a copywriter keeps you safe, limits you from expanding and becoming something so much more. The fact that those clients that you have, limit you from doing other things that would 10x your income. The relationship that keeps you safe may be the very thing keeping you from becoming who you need to be. The town you live in, keeps you safe, but limits you from experiencing everything the world has to offer. So on and so forth, it applies to every area of life. This truth structure changed everything for me. I was homeless as a 9 year old in Zagreb, Croatia for about a year with my Mom and Sister, and then spent a year in a refugee camp, only to come to America with $50... ...So I associated safety with houses, so what did I do? Well, having a bunch of houses kept me safe, so I spent millions upon millions on houses, I own four houses now, three in the United States and one in Croatia... ...Having thousands of square feet of space made me feel safe, and it felt good, despite only using about 10% of it... ...But it greatly limited me from investing that money into other more productive areas. Millions of dollars in lost income. Having business partners over the years kept me safe, but it limited me, because I did 95% of the work in those businesses and got half, it limited how much money I would have made. Millions of dollars more in lost income. The story goes on and on, and it all has a central theme to it, what keeps us safe, limits us. So if you're feeling stuck, not moving, not progressing, not where you are want to be, deep down, this is what's holding you back. What's keeping you safe is limiting you. Now, the question becomes, how do you find this? How do you dig in the depths of your mind to find what keeps you safe. Well, it's very easy... ...You just have to look at areas of life that have a want or a need, because if you want something, then you didn't get it, and the only reason you didn't get is because something is limiting you. From this point, we can go back to the originating limit of the greater limit, which is what keeps us safe. Once we find what keeps us safe, then we can identify the root cause of the limitation and begin to work on that, and the moment you go from not feeling safe in that area of life to feeling safe, then the limitation dissolves and you begin to move forward. This is part of a mindset process I did in NHB+ as I do every single week, and this was taught on yesterdays call. I outlined the process as to how to do it via A.I. to help you work through this process, and one of our long-time members, Alex Soltan, created a prompt out of it, which you can see here in the NHB group: facebook.com/groups/5086354… Make sure you use Claude, I find it's the best for this sort of work. Spend a few minutes doing it, and what comes up may very well allow you to live a lifetime of greater freedom, greater truth, greater alignment, and greater abundance. Because once you see what has been keeping you safe, you finally see what has been keeping you small. And once you see it, you can stop organizing your life around protection and start organizing it around expansion. That is when things begin to change. That is when you stop running in place. That is when the friction starts to make sense. That is when you begin to move. What keeps us safe limits us. But the moment you become aware of what has been keeping you safe, and you begin to create real safety from within instead of depending on the external thing, the limitation starts to dissolve. And when the limitation dissolves, so does the version of you that was trapped inside of it. All for love of the game, Alen

Here’s a motivational X post in your vibe, indie builder, shipping fast, no excuses: Most people don’t fail because they’re not smart. They fail because they quit at 70%. 70% tired. 70% confident. 70% ready. 70% sure it will work. But 70% effort = 0% results. The last 30% is boring. It’s fixing bugs. Rewriting landing pages. Testing hooks. Posting when no one likes it. That’s where the money is. That’s where the edge is. Be the one who finishes. Ship again tomorrow. 🫡

i think there only two types of people are gonna have real leverage in 2-3 years. 1. generalists + you know enough about mostly everything + you can switch context with ease and move across domains fast + you will survive because adaptability beats depth when the game keeps changing 2. synthesist + you know a little but got a taste to connect the dots + you are one in the room who makes everyone else’s ideas actually cohere + you will connect ai + markets + culture + behaviour into one narrative

Lots of people are sharing huge percentage PNLs and so on. I am just gonna share my January wins in % of portfolio. In January I have made 60% profit which is approximately 2% a day. I kept my losses minimal as you can see and stacked small wins. Even 0.3% win is a win and it stacks in long term. (this is my perpetuals statistics, not meme coins) It's possible when you have a strategy and follow it every day

Increasingly enamored by the idea that your texting habits reveal a lot about your level of success If you're someone who takes twelve, twenty-four hours to respond, I'm going to assume that you don't have a lot going on in your life People operating at a high level don’t like to accumulate mental drag. They're not preserving conversations in suspended animation to manufacture the impression of scarcity When a message comes in, they process it, and move on

“Dude I have 10 agents running while I sleep. No one is prepared for AGI in 2 years man.” “So what are you building?” “Bro all my smartest friends are vibe coding until 3am every night. It’s all about agency. Intelligence is a commodity man.” “So what are you building?” “Do you even study exponentials? Have you seen the latest METR chart? You’re going to be stuck in the permanent underclass bro.” “So what are you building?” “Did you even setup OpenClaw? I’m maxing out my token budget everyday man.” “So what are you building?” “I promise you I’m 10x more productive bro! You just don’t understand! Please bro just…. I know you use this stuff everyday too, but you must not be prompting it right! Please broo…”

You need to realize that there is almost no competition right now. More and more people are drawn to escapism. Dopamine traps such as TikTok and Reels have effectively fried about 70% of humans. Attention spans decrease, ambitions drown. You have no competition. In a few years from now, you will be able to see a clear elite.
