Hey Nikita, If this feedback is valuable I’ve been using the ‘snooze topics for 24 hours’ feature, which has been nice. But tossing an enhancement idea or iteration to test — just snooze topics indefinitely until you toggle it back on, and perhaps it asks you after a while if you want it back on. I keep snoozing politics for peace of mind lately

It is time for the United States Postal Service to ban junk mail. Unsolicited spam calls are already prohibited by the FCC. Emails are heavily regulated by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Junk mail is the majority of mail, 100 million trees per year. Enough!

I think most people feel this way about this dude. I know as a guitar player I can’t (nor do I want to) do what he is doing. And I can’t see this being good for more than a couple minutes of wow factor, it doesn’t haven’t “listenability”. And he goes out of his way to make it look more complicated than it needs to be. Which is kind of misleading which makes me like him even less. Seems like a nice dude though

@DrGuitar This guy is talented and has clearly worked very hard at this. But I hate this style of guitar playing. Playing your acoustic guitar like it’s a bongo sounds bad. And his schtick about fingers he’s not using is rehearsed and a literal gimmick. Waste of time and talent.

Does anyone else spend the entire modern movie turning the volume up and down because there is zero sound consistency in movies anymore?

Well I’m a musician and in a duo. It’s super hard to get past the local scene even. Aside from crazy good talent and connection with people, it unfortunately comes down to money… marketing and relationships with the people in the chair. There is a current tight circle of songwriters and producers that are taking on a huge chunk in the industry, kind of a gate to get in. That said, also have to take accountability and be super good at your craft. So don’t want to complain, but things are askew.
