Her recent initiative "Jayant" a skill centre for women in Choklagan, one of the last village along the India-Myanmar border, aims to nurture skills, talent, and hard work. Dismissed by some as "Tina Ghor" I see it as a beacon of self-reliance and empowerment for the citizens.

While I was in the Village students union I pitched her a proposal to start a scholarship to encourage our Night School students and she gladly obliged and our students are beneficiaries of her goodwill. She has also extended assistance in form of stationaries at different times.

Unlike many who taps into the influencer economy, she travelled to the farthest corner of the State and started a free tuition centre for students in Noklak "while she was still in college" A proper building with qualified teachers and activities to help the students there.

The Centre, meant to be a library, tuition/coaching centre and space to instil creative skills in the local children is the brainchild of Vikuonuo Sachu, a former Miss Nagaland,who constructed it in honour of her grandparents as they played a pivotal role in her growing years 2/3
