@realRick_AUS If they lowered packets to $20-$25 and pouches to $50 the black market would be dead overnight. The quality of the black market cigarettes is very poor and far inferior to the legal cigarettes/tobacco.

The Australian government taxes cigarettes at 80% sometimes higher.
80% tax on a pack of smokes.
Even off they halved that, they’d almost kill off the illegal tobacco industry.
How can they be so stupid?
