@kestner_1 …the user screams and becomes exposed for 60 seconds plus takes the hook state. Nothing more needs to be added when the user is already in heavy danger. If you can’t cap the down in that timeframe it’s a skill issue on your end.

Shoulder the Burden should apply injury and broken status effect for 70 seconds. If you're going to take a hook state you deserve to eat the full hook state.
