Last night @thenbyg invited all RUTHERFORD COUNTY Principals to join us at TRUE NORTH to be prayed over by the students from their respective schools. This is a tradition in its 9th year. Congrats to Larry Creasy from @SiegelHighStars for taking home the coveted “PRINCIPAL’S CUP”

I want to thank @thenbyg for dinner and the @SiegelHighStars students that attend TRUE NORTH for praying over me and our school. @SiegelHighStars captured The Principal’s Cup this year.

We end each trip w/a debriefing in Central Park answering questions like: 1. What is one thing you’ll never see the same way again? 2. What conversation changed you the most? 3. What will be different about you for the next 51 weeks because of this 1? Answers were amazing.

They guys wanted to “dress up” for their night out at the theater.

Leaving camp and headed to The Big Apple!

Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads.

Camp wide game of manhunt is underway. These ninja warriors are determined to not be seen. My money’s on Knox.

Some friends are gonna be hard to say good bye to… …and will be remembered forever.

It’s MANHUNT night. Dress in your darkest gear and then hide all over camp…and if found…run before your flag is pulled.

Carson helped touch up an icon of Camp Shiloh. We have one day left to serve. You might say he took literally the command to “Repaint, repaint…for the end is near!”

Worship spontaneously broke out at lunch. I don’t remember this ever happening before. It started because two girls at one table started singing trying to remember the words to a song we had learned…and soon spread to the next table…then the whole dining hall. Cool moment.

Friendship bracelets in the Arts and Crafts Cabin is always a hit. Friendship is a bigger hit.

LizMarie and I set a SHILOH WORLD RECORD today in “World Records Class”. “Longest Continuous Business Like Handshake While Maintaining Eye Contact”. Previous record: 5 minutes 20 seconds. NEW record: 15 minutes 3 seconds Your move world.

It’s always great when they bring their Beanie Babies to meals. The more friends the merrier.
