What I saw vs What I designed.

Color for the day: Blue 💙 Which is your favourite? Let's have a great week!

Spent half of the day working on my submission for @envato x @contra challenge. I started the first few hours watching YT videos on how to use Envato before diving in. Came up with a brand identity for Scrib! A journaling app Here's a summary of how I went about it; - I searched Google, YT, and Claude on how to use Envato since it was my first time using the tool - Read through their blog after watching and believed I got the basics right to get started. - Sketched the logo on paper and brought it to life in Figma. - Then the challenge of deciding the mascot. I had a few sketches done on my iPad - Tested Envato illustration styles first before using my sketch to generate the mascot. - After getting the style right, I looked for fonts in the font library to match the brand, and then I dived into Figma to start creating designs with my assets generated. - Once my designs were ready, i thought about mockups. Went back to @envato mockup library and mockgen to download and generate particular mockups that I need. - I also created videos with Videogen to test out its capability. Some took more time to refine than others since I had an idea of what I wanted. - With some of the videos, I played around with music and sound. Overall, Envato served as an all-in-one toolkit for videos, fonts, images, sound, and more! Figma was the aid I used for presentation 😁
