If it’s just a matter of transport, I think owning an EV now makes more sense than ever. Especially when it costs me approx £1.20 to charge for my week’s driving.

An opinion from somebody who isn’t an old fart? I think the new BMW i3 looks amazing. Hints of E36 and Alfa 156. There’s nothing remotely offensive about it, which couldn’t be said for its predecessor 😉 #BMW #BMWi3 #NeueKlasse

@DanielCars05 No it would have been M54. Those are some ridiculous numbers though, if it’s actually anything near that why would anyone drive anything else haha

@thenewxhandle Did your Z4 have the N52? Because I got the same efficiency in my old Z4. Still good! My 325i is a 2009 with direct injection, so it goes into an “eco” mode on the motorway and does something to the fuelling.

@AutoPap I bought a Model 3 Performance used, not a massive difference in cost between it and standard, little difference in efficiency. Why not have the fast one! That being said….. I drive it like an old man in chill mode 99% of the time.

Just an observation : I don't see the point of a high performance EV. For me the tech is there to make driving easier and over time cheaper. Sticking a battery in a car that churns out 1000bhp and lasts 20minutes which can't handle as well as a MX5 is a total waste of time.

@RedBSierra Older diesels are brutal. I feel like we just forget how clean the new ones are!

I think my health is getting worse, as certain vehicles exhausts are now catching me causing to cough, these both times were older vehicles that maybe shouldn't have past their emissions test? Both diesel too.

The scenery here is like nothing else. Also I’m not sure what the front brake pads in this car are, but they sure are setting some sort of world record for the amount of brake dust produced in one trip.

The Nürburgring has been awesome. But onwards!
