My retirement account did not do well on his watch (almost doubled under Biden), we had a horrible response to a global health emergency, the decisions he made led to the inflation Biden is blamed for, and Trump made the Afghanistan withdrawal deal.

@atrupar when you realize that Trump made a far better case for "a better life for your family and future for your community" you'll be ready to learn something.

I think one of the most difficult reckonings of this election is that the incentives we thought inspired voting choices -- a better life for your family and future for your community -- may not be as decisive as the desire to dominate and inflict cruelty on outgroups. Explanations that don't grapple with this point generally read to me like liberal wishcasting.
