I’ve been asked a lot lately how I created this 3D logo effect. The secret? Spline’s new 3D Shape tool. It’s a total game-changer for product designers. Here is a 1:1 breakdown of how I made it. 👇

"Think for yourself" was our slogan when we launched in 2019. But more than a slogan, it's the entire product direction, the whole reason any of this exists. Every app/company right now wants you to share something, collaborate on something, invite someone, be somewhere, show up, be on... everything is insanely demanding, loud, asking you to perform... etc. But we like to go the other direction. We're building a quiet and slow space where you can think for yourself. Think of it like a private garden, a room with no audience, a place to actually be yourself in (which sounds like it should be the default but its actually fairly hard to find). Sticking to that hasn't been easy to be honest. Going against every growth strategy while everyone around you is optimizing, you do feel the pressure sometimes. But some things you just don't bend on, though I'm not always sure if that's principle or stubbornness. Maybe both. Maybe that's fine (: Thank you to everyone who's been with us on this. Building mymind is something we genuinely love. I hope that comes through.
