I've seen the qrts and there's nothing you can really do when its Twitter and the Undertale/Deltarune fandom is vast and full of a lot of different people entitled to different opinions and perspectives on what is depicted

@_k0lter_ The quotes on that art has me so annoyed, the game never talks about chara being asriel’s sibling. In fact Asriel ONLY SAYS “best friend” none of the dremmurss refers to chara as their child either. They just say “I knew a human once”

Did we play the same game? Seriously did we? Chara in game is literally PALE.

@naasfaltimakar I had to look up what nesugaki before I understood, never heard it before (basically like Nagatoro I'm assuming?) But now that I understand, I can see how it can be a little problematic

Honestly, the biggest problem is they're drawing her as a nesugaki. But the ship itself is valid and unproblematic

Something new and completely different from what I usually do. A 4 panel comic. I know alot if not all of my followers are mainly CSM fans. But one of the many things I like is Undertale. Thx to my friend Lydia who had the idea and gave me the dialogue #undertale #fanart

@6kelvzyu my friend who gave me the idea likes the two because of the fact Asriel was Chara's first real friend (then turned to best friends) and that their bond was very deep and they were practically inseparable. The intent behind this was pure hearted. I cannot stress it enough

besides the obvious issue the elephant in the room if you will the first time i saw this i had literally no idea how the fuck it was supposed to be read like do we go from top to bottom left to right right to left

@zolmber @crystalserpant I agree that True Pacifist reveals Frisk is their own person, but my point is that the game's structure gives the player the power to override that autonomy via a True Reset. It's a commentary on our control over them.

@zolmber @crystalserpant How did you come to that conclusion from what I said?What you said about the player being unable to treat the MC rightfully depends on if you reset the game and disregard all their accomplishments and happiness. You're making an insinuation about how I see the game and Toby

@zolmber @crystalserpant Flower isn't telling the player those things to push the agenda of their gender. He begs you not to reset the game and let Frisk be happy on the Surface. If you reset, you will erase all the memories of their hard-earned happy ending. Nothing to do with being their own person

@zolmber For Frisk, Toby Fox clarified that their gender is up to the player's interpretation. For Chara, I can understand more because he never said that for them. So this could be a misinterpretation of Chara's gender on my own part

What's more interesting about all this, is that I've posted something Undertale related a long time ago. Notice how I drew Frisk in this depiction. I am open to all kinds of ways THAT ARE OBJECTIVELY OKAY and NOT from malicious intent in how something is drawn
