Thanks @Fly_Norwegian for worst journey experience. Paid $100 at JFK for 5kg over, then find out at Gatwick that bag is still in NYC. Bag's now been delivered home with handle ripped off and zip toggles snapped. Apparently my responsibility to go to Gatwick to prove damage...
