@beststorynever @iNationProject @StorycastDocs @PBSDS We sent out a casting call, and got 100 responses of people that wanted to tell their stories-we eventually whittled it down to 6! I think only a small percentage of the undocu community wants to share their stories publicly--due to safety reasons, and many others. #WakingDreamED

@iNationProject @sacstate We are seeing a lot of interest from educators and Dreamer Resource Centers to screen the series and use it as a platform to engage in deep conversations around immigration issues. #WakingDreamED

@1dilpickle @iNationProject A2: It's an incredibly personal choice of whether to 'come out' publicly, or not, but at the least, my hope is that by telling stories of a diverse group of Dreamers, the larger undocu community will be able to see themselves in the series, and feel more connected #WakingDreamED.

@leftcoastpa @iNationProject A2: The last 2 years have been an emotional rollercoaster for anyone allied with or part of undocumented communities in the U.S. Personally, it's been very intense to tell these stories, but more than anything, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity. #WakingDreamED
