Rohit Sharma is that first-gen middle-class kid who made it big, but never forgot his roots. enjoys with friends, loves his (extended) family, meets everyone with warmth, and still shows up for every family function. A few earn more, but the love is all his, deservingly so.❤️

🚨 Virat’s 2016 IPL hype ≠ reality. Virat was great, but Warner was BETTER, and missed on a deserving POTT. Let’s debunk. 👇 📊 Raw Records — decided the POTT. 🔸 Virat — 973 runs (16 I, 640 B, 152 SR) 🔸 Warner — 848 runs (17 I, 560 B, 151.4 SR) 📊 Let's dive deeper. 🔹 Runs-per-over: RCB (9.62) > SRH (8.14) 🔹Team Runs: RCB (2863) > SRH (2549) 🔹Team Strike Rate: RCB (153) << SRH (128.93) 🧵👇

@theoldguy20 Yead definitely, 848>973, 151>152(st.rate), 60>81(avg). Now don't say srh won the tournament then it's not individual comparison

Mumbai Indians have 4–5 legit captaincy options, and SKY and Hardik would still rank at the bottom. The irony writes itself — no wonder they were trophy-less before RGS.

@Agd_1 yeah, was never able to follow “get what you want” mantra irrespective of what he achieved. MI management is definitely a factor!

@theoldguy20 He never fought people in the first place. He was never a combative personality. Given his stature, he should be able to get what he wants to. Look at the other two stalwarts of Indian cricket. People or the team do not question them or their decisions. A lot of factors in play.

Fellas trolling Rohit for a slow knock today, meanwhile their idol would’ve scored a 50-ball-40 on this track.

@Agd_1 fair, I’m unsure if Rohit would’ve wanted this. One could argue he should push the management, but we don’t know what’s happening at the deeper level….feels like he’s stopped fighting people, and started focusing only on himself. For good, or bad.

@theoldguy20 Not only that. Why can’t he be at the field for 20 overs? If he’s struggling here, how will he cope with it in the ODIs? Even Rohit is responsible for this.

Delhi: On the Delhi Capitals’ six‑wicket win over the Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, a fan says, "I felt the biggest problem was with Mumbai’s batting... Initially, they got a huge setback because Hardik Pandya didn’t play. Without Hardik, it felt like Suryakumar and Rohit wanted Mumbai to lose..."

Been saying this for a while: Rohit Sharma isn’t legendary because of his numbers. He’s immortal because of what he did when others slow down. He’s superhuman for the impact that goes beyond scorecards. He’s a legend because he chose to evolve more than anybody else. Yes, it’s not just a cricket story. It’s a human story that lasts forever. On that metric? I pick Rohit over anyone. Very well written @the_cricketest
