I’ve seen a lot of posts about the “meningitis outbreak” so I just wanted to share a little perspective. A lot of people don’t realise that around 10% to 20% of people can carry the specific bacteria in their throat at any time and feel completely fine. Out of all those people, only about 0.01% to 0.1% will actually go on to develop meningitis. And even in those cases, around 5% to 15% can be fatal. If you put that together, the overall chance of someone carrying the bacteria and dying from meningitis is roughly 0.0005% to 0.015%. So yes, it’s serious, but it’s also very rare. Best thing you can do is up your vit c, zinc, go outside (it’s been lovely today) and switch off that damn TV. Also, learn the symptoms and learn how to perform the kerning and Brudziski test.

@LostCryptoland This guy is great at stringing people along while continuing to cash in on mining profits. Meanwhile investors are getting wrecked.
