Sapping Crawford's stamina could make him more vulnerable to power shots in the later rounds, as was seen in the initial match where Crawford gassed out in the last four rounds. *Cut off the ring: Use footwork to limit Crawford's movement and corner him against the ropes, where his physical strength would be most effective in close-range exchanges. *Control inside exchanges: Lean on Crawford in clinches and tie up his arms to disrupt his rhythm and make him uncomfortable.  *Counter Crawford's jab and stance switching: Canelo needs to find an answer for Crawford's jab and his ability to switch between orthodox and southpaw stances. He must anticipate Crawford's movements and use feints to set up his own offense. *Capitalize on overcommitment: Crawford can be an aggressive brawler who sometimes stays in the pocket to throw volume. If Canelo can bait him into overcommitting on offense, he could land a flush counterpunch, such as his powerful overhand right.  *Improve conditioning: To avoid tiring out in the championship rounds, Canelo needs to come into the rematch with better conditioning.
