When you are in Maharashtra, learn Marathi. India became a country by unification of various ethnicities. Because of 80 years of Hindi imposition, raising our voice for native languages is being termed as Linguistic Chauvinism. Stop Hindi Imposition.
Tavleen Singh@tavleen_singh

The recent order that all taxi drivers in Mumbai learn Marathi is silly linguistic chauvinism. India is one country with many languages. How many languages will workers need to learn to find work outside their home state?

Hina Rabbani Khar (Pakistan MP) : "When the UAE demanded its deposit back, who stepped to help us? It was Saudi Arabia. Imagine!! Due to the US Iran war, our relationship with Saudi deteriorates and if they demand their deposit. Who will help us? It will be China. What if due to closeness to the US, China and Pakistan relationships deteriorate and if they demand their deposit. Who will help us with new deposits? No One!! We should be ready for such scenarios and we must build new relationships with Nations who can help us with New Deposits if our relationship gets affected with Saudi and China in future"

Are you telling me that they filed a complaint against that legendary Mumbai woman who protested for her rights at a women’s right protest? This is how we empower Nari Shakti by suppressing women’s voice!!! Pathetic!!

@BBhaskaran01 @IncomeTaxIndia @nsitharaman Sir. We owe far more than what tax we pay to the country. So shutup and pay the tax. If you can't understand what all it gives then read and observe more. Thode se paise kya aa gaye economics nayi banayenge

AI’s gutting white-collar jobs, drowning us in free time that’s turning into a nightmare. Betting apps like Polymarket and Kalshi? Volumes exploding 300% YoY as bored minds chase cheap thrills. Meanwhile, sex drives are tanking—24% of young Americans sexless now—fertility crashing to 1.6. It’s heartbreaking. This doom loop hits hard: robots steal the grind, screens steal our spark, kids vanish, workforce shrinks, bots take over more. Rage-inducing. Gladiator nailed it—Commodus tossed “bread and circuses” at desperate plebs to numb the rot. Free grain, bloody games. Our version? UBI scraps and crypto bets. Same sick distraction, deadlier tech. We’re sleepwalking into sextinction, folks. Tax those gambling highs to fund real fixes: childcare that works, apprenticeships that stick. Feel the urgency—fight back before it’s too late.

If BJP truly believe in empowering women then why it is out to remove the most empowered woman in Bengal, Mamta Banerjee ?

Dubai: 0% income tax. Indian taxpayer moves there. Saves ₹5L/year in taxes. India's response: "Brain drain problem!" No. Tax terrorism problem. Talent doesn't flee countries. It flees exploitation. When 0% tax abroad = better life than 35% tax at home, the system is broken.

I had quit my career to look after an ailing family elder as the thought of leaving my children alone at home with a full time male care taker was terrifying. Do not understand families that hire full time male household help with young children at home. You may say not all men but what about the ones who weren't meant to enter your home but do? Be careful of who you give access to your home. Thoughts with grieving parents and the deceased 22 year old girl from Kailash Hills. Hope social media is kinder on parents and stop judging them. They just lost their reason to live...

All our problems are because of Maharashtra being part of india. Our oil, revenue, jobs, everything is stolen. Once we get out of this shit we can completely reorient our economy & move ahead. Once we got rid of gujrat in 1960 Maharashtra took huge strides on all fronts. Now 1000 gandabhai migrate to Maharashtra daily.

@Seema1072 @Akshat_World The real problem isn’t what political parties offer—it’s that too many people don’t have stable incomes. Create better earning opportunities, choose stronger candidates, and raise voices. Even the poorest understand these tactics, leaving is cowardice

@theothersguy @Akshat_World How else to solve the problem posed? All political parties, be it DMK, Congress, BJP, etc., have started the freebie scheme, which will never end. It is the middle class who get affected most, so each person tries to solve the situation the best way for themselves.

"Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt"-- This is a timeless political strategy. And, is now the cornerstone of Indian politics in 2026. As a direct taxpayer, you're NOT the majority. You're an exception. The sooner you get this through your head, the better your life will be. Two practical ways to survive this:- 1) Be a cow. Keep paying taxes. You will be milked till you're useless. Then you'll be on your own. 2) Leave. Both options are tough. Pick your tough.
BJP@BJP4India

All unemployed youth in Bengal will receive ₹3,000 in their bank accounts on the first of every month. We will provide ₹21,000 to every pregnant mother for the care of her child. The BJP government will implement 33% reservation in government jobs, and from 1 June, all women will get free bus travel. The BJP government will increase the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000. - Shri @AmitShah #BanglarMoneSudhuiBJP

I’ve never seen such a self obsessed megalomaniac in my life. While praising Tim Cook for his contribution to Apple, he ended up praising himself. Unfortunately this guy is the President of world’s most powerful country.

@theothersguy This is where it gets tricky. It’s not just about data collection, but behavioral inference in real time. DPDP will likely scrutinize how that intent is derived and used.

JioHotstar’s signal-led commerce with Instamart marks the shift from “watch - want - buy” in real time—huge for monetization. But without clear consent and transparency, it risks crossing into privacy concerns under India’s DPDP law m.economictimes.com/industry/media…
